Cathy McCabe
Cathy has joined us as the Alternative to Custody Coordinator. She has a Bachelor of Social Science (Counselling) and an Associate Diploma Arts (Residential Care & Management). She is also a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a Certified Sandplay Therapist. Cathy comes to us following several years working in a Program Management role with Uniting Care in Queensland.
Jessica Dias
Jessica is our new Case Manager at Aranda House. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology) & is an approved Alternative to Violence (AVP) Program Facilitator. Jess' most recent work has been as a Case Manager in a women's crisis and outreach service. Prior to that experience she was an AOD Worker with the Ted Noffs Foundation (PALM), working in a Therapeutic Community.
Sharon Simpson
Sharon has a Certificate IV in AOD, along with a Certificate IV Mental Health. She has almost competed her Diploma in Counselling and has worked in Case Management roles at Catholic Care, MHACA and Holyoake. Sharon also has experience with facilitating Sandplay Therapy.
Vanessa Mounsey
Vanessa has a Diploma of Counselling & is a Registered Counsellor. Vanessa also has a Bachelor of Science & a Bachelor of Education. Vanessa comes to us with AOD Case Management experience with St Vincent De Paul, as well as AOD Outreach Work at CAAPS. Vanessa has also worked in a Suicide Prevention role in Darwin with the YMCA.
