DASA would like to acknowledge & thank the Department of Health for their generous grant to purchase a new SUS bus. Their support plays a vital role in helping us safely transport clients from the Alice Springs Hospital Emergency Department to the Sobering Up Shelter. We truly appreciate their commitment to supporting our mission, and we look forward to keeping you all updated on the positive outcomes.

On 16th January 1985 Drug and Alcohol Services Australia Ltd (DASA) was officially registered to provide supervised accommodation and care for intoxicated people in Alice Springs. Since then, our organisation has grown considerably and continues to deliver drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs to Alice Springs, the Central Australia region as well as far as Groote Eylandt.
To commemorate our 40th year of service, we invite you to our free community event being held on the Alice Springs Town Council lawns, Thursday 17th April 2025, 10am – 2pm. Information stalls from local organisations, live CAAMA radio broadcast and free sausage sizzle and cake will be provided so come on down and enjoy the day.
This is a smoke, drug and alcohol-free event. Everyone is welcome!

A massive thank you goes out to the Northern Territory Government for funding the ATC International Women's Day luncheon in March. The residents were able to showcase their cooking skills and cater to their guests as well as discuss the importance of being a woman in today's world. It was a great day enjoyed by all who attended. Once again, thank you NTG for your continued support.
